The International Diamond Cut Conference, planned to take place in Lausanne in March 2009, will now be rescheduled for a future date.

Although we believe the need for structural change in the industry is more important now than ever before, the budgetary and travel restrictions imposed by the economic crisis have made attendance at the conference difficult for many. We therefore feel certain you will agree that the decision to postpone the conference until conditions become more favourable is in the interests of everyone concerned.
